Training programs are a benefit of joining the SWOG Cancer Research Network.

Materials are posted in the SWOG ExpertusOne or CTSU CLASS learning management systems. Both systems require login (with credentials necessary to access secure NCI/CTSU IT systems). 
  • Training courses in the CTSU CLASS system are accessible NCTN-wide. For licensing reasons, many of the training courses in the SWOG ExpertusOne system are accessible to SWOG members only.

ExpertusOne System and Course Access: 

  • Login to https://swog.exphosted.com/ with your current ID.me credentials (linked to your active CTEP IAM account) to access role-defined training via the ExpertusOne learning management system (LMS). 
      • For SWOG members: SWOG members must be visible in the in the online SWOG directory and the member's email in the SWOG member directory must be the same as the email registered in the member's CTEP-IAM account. 
        • If you are not listed in the SWOG member directory, please contact member@swog.org for assistance.
        • Error Message when attempting to login with your ID.me credentials: If there is a mismatch between the registration email associated with your CTEP-IAM account and the email listed in the online SWOG directory (which will subsequently be synced with the SWOG ExpertusOne Learning Management System), you will receive the following error message when attempting to login to ExpertusOne with your ID.me credentials "We are sorry. Unable to locate your account."  
      • Please direct system access inquiries to: LMSsupport@swog.org.
    • ExpertusOne LMS courses are set-up as self-enrollment courses and will not appear in the "My Learning" Dashboard until after you enroll to the course or workshop.
      • To access and "Enroll" to a course: Please either use the direct access link provided (see above or also the Individual Course List) or browse the online catalog after login.
    • Troubleshooting system access and SWOG member-only training content access:
      • Course/Workshop access: SWOG members, please note: At your first login to the ExpertusOne LMS you will not have access to SWOG member training.
          • The first login to the ExpertusOne LMS will create your ExpertusOne user account at a community-wide (NCTN) access level.
          • Then, the account will be synced (within ~72 hours) with the SWOG database via either an automated overnight sync or subsequent SWOG staff manual resolution of sync failure. 
            • Note: If the overnight database sync was incomplete, then within ~72 hours, you will receive an email from training@swog.org after SWOG staff have completed the setup of your ExpertusOne account, granting you access to SWOG member training.
          • At next login to the ExpertusOne system, the learner will have access to all SWOG member only role-defined online training.
