  SWOG 2026

  • VA Storefront Support Program
    • The VA Storefront Support Program is currently accepting applications through October 2nd. The program provides funding to support centralized coordination among VA medical centers and facilitate participation in NCI-supported clinical trials.
       
  • QA Webinar "Patient-Reported Outcomes"

    • Prior to the start of the webinar: Enroll to the SWOG ExpertusOne Course at: Patient-Reported Outcomes. (Login with ID.me credentials used to access NCI systems). We recommend enrolling by September 10, 2026. After enrolling, participants will receive a system-generated calendar invite with a link to the course.
       
  • Fall Group Meeting 2026 – October 8th -10th at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Chicago, IL
    • Registration is open! Please visit the group meeting page to view the schedule and to register. 
    • Most open sessions will be live-streamed, allowing for virtual attendance online. The session details page will provide session agendas as they become available and Zoom links for open sessions.

  • Patient Case Records
    In order to be consistent with standard medical care and to be compliant with Federal regulations, each investigator participating in trials must prepare and maintain adequate and accurate source documentation designed to record all observations and other data pertinent to the investigation of each participant (21 CFR 312.62.b).
     
  • SWOG Quality Assurance and Audit
    The purpose of the Quality Assurance Program is to enhance the reliability and validity of clinical trials data through routine monitoring. Audits are designed to provide assurance that the data reported on research records accurately reflect data in the primary patient record and to verify compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements. The program also surveys data management practices at each institution to provide educational support to clinical trial sites regarding data quality, management, and more. These resources can help with clinical trials quality assurance and the audit process.
