Fall Travel Funds

Registration for the fall group meeting in Chicago opens July 30.
Clinical research associates, research nurses, and physician specialists – such as radiation oncologists – can apply for group meeting travel funds from The Hope Foundation for Cancer Research and from SWOG Cancer Research Network.
- The SWOG CRA/Nurse Travel Support program provides travel support for up to 20 members annually. The deadline for this Hope program is August 1.
- SWOG runs a program called MaD Money: Modality and Discipline Travel Support Program. Surgeons, radiation oncologists, cardiologists, pharmacists and general practitioners with oncology experience are eligible. Hematologists and oncologists are not. Recipients must be SWOG members, or prospective SWOG members. To determine eligibility, contact Eva LealLara at leallara@ohsu.edu. The deadline is August 26.
