SWOG is one of the nation's largest National Cancer Institute-funded clinical trials networks. Its more than 4,000 physician-researchers at institutions across the United States and beyond, including 21 NCI-designated cancer centers, conduct large phase III trials and groundbreaking initial trials that lead to new drugs, new standards of care and better ways to control and prevent cancer.
